extraordinary Valentine's Day

Saturday, February 15, 2014

this year Valentine's Day falls on the weekday...
thank god it falls on Friday...
which benefit lots of couples because it is off day the next day...

i never really enjoy Valentine's though i have been in a relationship for more than five years...
i think i might shock everyone reading this post...
if i am to say that i only officially celebrated Valentine's Day for ONCE throughout my five years relationship...
which was only during our first year together...
*sounded so pathetic right*
yes it is..i do feel sad too thinking recalling back on my my previous sucks Valentine's...
i told myself before on my third year that i will never look forward for Valentine's anymore...
because every time i put hope on it...
i tend to end up in great disappointment...
though this year we are no longer in long distance...
and by right Valentine's Day should be something to look up to...
but still i think nothing about this day at all...
though he told me that he will be coming over at night...
i went to work as usual and did my daily routines as usual...

no expectation and no plan at all for this day...
*i know he will never come out with a plan or any surprise for me..i just know him*
but still it did not went through happily either..-_-

14th February 2014

waited him to come over but i felt so disappointed because it started drizzling at around 7pm...
called to ask him if he has left workshop already...
and also to note him that it going to rain soon...
the moment i asked where is he...
he sounded so annoyed as though i had did something wrong like that...
*for god sake you think you're the only one feeling tired after work?*
i felled annoyed too actually but i tried to control my temper...
because i know we will definitely end up arguing if either one does not tolerate...
i felt that in such situation there is no point celebrating Valentine's anymore...
so without hesitation...
i told him not to come anymore if this is how he going to talk to me for the rest of the night...

around 7.30pm i was confused...
not knowing if i am going out or not because i got no response from him...
'am i still supposed to wait for you?'
'should i eat first or should i not eat?'
'are we still going out or not?'
'are you coming already?'
these questions had been running in my mind...
i text him but no reply from him either...
i got pissed off so i decided to call again...
*not answering*
this is the thing i hate most when he left me 'hanging' not knowing what to do next...
decided to just shower first...
around 8.45pm...
thank god he was here when i was almost done preparing myself..-_-
*but was not happy at all*

it was very jam everywhere...
because it was Valentine's Day on Friday..-_-
went to the nearest mall which was Mid Valley Megamall...
i guess we both tried really hard to not ruin the night...
so he tolerated me quite a lot...
i asked him what he wanted to eat...
and he asked me what movie i wanted to watch...
and he accompanied me to queue for movie tickets first...
though he has not been eating anything that day...
i know by the time we get to buy our tickets...
the restaurants in the mall would probably be closing already..><
we queued for quite some times because the queue was very long...
i wanted to watch The Journey since ages ago...
but i was afraid that it might be boring to him...
so i decided to go for From Macau to Vegas instead...
too bad only front rows were available for both these movies...
told him that i did not want to watch anymore...
but he sounded a bit pissed off because we ended up not buying anything after queuing for so long...
and he insisted me to just get one of it...
his bad temper made me annoyed too that i warned him not to complain neck-ache...
why want to waste money when you know it is not worth it anymore?!
*in a pissed off voice*
so yea two bad tempered people clashed together..><
it got so awkward a couple stand side to side refused talking to each other...
and i almost cry seeing other couples being so sweet but i had to suffer..:(
it was really a waste of time that i felt like going back home already...
i felt it is so meaningless to continue the night with him..><
i walked away heading towards the parking lot already...
we were not in time for our movie already...
*see..that is what i mean by waste money*
he had me in his arm and walked me in to a Japanese restaurant...
which was still opened for business..o.0
i know he was trying to tolerate so i did not push him away...
he whispered to me apologizing and said we will be getting another movie tickets after meal...

i said nothing at all just letting him lead me in to this Kiku-Zakura Japanese Restaurant...
the first thing that impressed me when we settled down at our seats...
was this giant..o.0
their Guardian Angel the Golden Arowana (Dragon Fish)...
a fish that looks superb expensive..><

even the menu there is superb expensive...
i never come to such Japanese cuisines with such expensive price...
the moment i done browsing through the menu...
i told him i do not feel like ordering anything at all..><
but he insisted to though they are expensive...
his face expression was so normal i think he did not bother at all what is written after 'RM'..-_-

i never get to resist sashimi because i am madly in love with raw salmon...
ordered this Sashimi Set
price at RM38.00
which comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, salad and fruits
*see this is what i mean superb expensive..this is just an ordinary set that you can probably find it in Sushi King with half of the price*

i can assure you that the sashimi is really good!!
*thumbs up*
too good that i left them for the last to eat..><

Kaki Set (Oysters)
price at RM48.00
which comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, salad and fruits

he said the oysters taste really good...

ala carte Crab Soup (apologize because i forgot what it calls on the menu)
price at RM18.00

Kiku-Zakura Japanese Restaurant branch that i visited is at
Lot T-025, Level 3, Mid Valley Megamall,
58000 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Telephone: +603 2284 0137
Business Hours: 1000 - 2200
link to their Facebook page

apparently they had their business hours extended that day...
because we left the restaurant almost around 11.45pm...
but there were still customers coming in...

i was not in the mood for movie anymore after the late dinner...
so he called back his friend...
*who had been calling him whole night that it annoyed me a little*
and we went over to Kepong to collect something from this friend...
and reached home around 1.15am...

not a very happy Valentine's Day i should say...
i guess we just never fail to catch in a fight during Valentine's Day...
*and for many Valentine's Days to come?*

anyway wish the rest of the couples in the world...
Happy Valentine's Day...
i do wish you guys had a great night with your partners...
though mine was a total disaster..><
