Printcious | My Customized Cushion
my long awaited parcel has finally arrived!!!
i had dedicated a post about Printcious the other day, mainly about how the whole customizing works. if you have missed it and wished to read, you may click here
well, i was pretty excited about getting my hands on my very first customized cushion. however, as time passed by day by day, the excitement eventually reduced *almost gone*. the reason being, it is stated in the shipping policy that the delivery will take about three(3) to five(5) working days to process. however, i confirmed my purchase on the 17th April 2016, and sadly to know that my cushion only started to send out one(1) week later, where i received an e-mail confirmation from Printcious on the 24th April 2016. and then there was some sort of delivery issue from Skynet that it took another one(1) week to actually reach me.
i do hope this only happens on me and not other customers as well because a total of fourteen(14) days wait is quite ridiculous, don't you think so?
to be honest, the first sight of it was rather disappointing because it looked pretty ugly as it was jammed packed in a wrapper and looked rather out of shape too. but i was all happy again after unwrapping it, and you know what? it looks exactly how it was displayed to me on the website. i was not expecting it to be like EXACTLY the same!!! *LOL*.
the cushion is made of 100% polyester, and the size is exactly as of what it is stated on the website *thumb up*. polyester may not be the best option for sleeping purpose but totally fine for me because i intend to put it in my car, and i personally think polyester can withstand dirtiness better than cotton, for it is less absorbent. plus point, the cushion cover is removable, which means it can be washed. i have tried hand washing it *without scrubbing*, apparently the picture did not fade, and of course no shrinking *pheww*..:D
the picture quality is also beyond my expectation. the doodle background i have chosen turned out to be really nice. and the stamping picture looks very much like it is stamped on it too. i just wished i could have make it slightly bigger. but it still look nice right..:p
overall i am satisfied with my purchase regardless of the waits that i had to go through *LOL*. i have decided to want to make another one because the cushion is meant to be in one pair. knowing its quality is within my satisfaction, i am pretty confident to go ahead to purchase another one. i just hope no more desperate wait ahead.
