Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant | Mid Valley Megamall

by - Saturday, August 27, 2016

Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant is no stranger to everyone, well known for their good authentic German cuisine and wide range of premium biers from the Paulaner family. when it comes to eating in the Germanese's way, it means everything comes in really big portion..:o

so i was here at the Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant located at Mid Valley’s al fresco boulevard, on a delightful afternoon, bringing along a growling tummy looking forward for some juicy German sausages and porks!!!

Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options for around 200 persons in a contemporary environment, complemented by warm Bavarian hospitality.

relax amidst a fun, and welcoming interior with Brotzeit’s signature mural of Bavarian life offering a touch of nostalgia while wooden benches, and an extensive bar counter cater to private get-together or a spot for social networking.

display of arrays of empty German bier bottles adorned along the wall at the back of the restaurant.

Non-Alcoholic & Juices (Premium) | RM15.00

delicious and good for health, these juices has no added artificial colours or flavours, no added preservatives, no added sugar, no added water, and it is not from concentrate. it is made from 100% Australian fruit.

[Appetizer] Bernerwürstl | Pigs in Blankets | RM39.00

three smoked pork cheese sausages wrapped with bacon and served with fries. i must say the sausages are superb!!! i love German sausage a lot because i like the crispy outer skin and the bursting sensation of the juices from the sausages!!! this dish is probably one of my favourite~

[Main Course] Daily Roasted Pork | RM22.00

liked i said, i was pretty much looking forward for the big portion of German pork/sausages. but i totally got disappointed when this was all that served to me.

however, taste wise, this is a  rather deliciously satisfying meal. i love how the perfectly roasted pork is so tender and juicy. there is not much seasoning done on the slice of pork thus the sourness from the sauerkraut blend well together. this meal is also serves with sides of mashed potatoes.

[Dessert] Weisser Lavakuchen | Chocolate Lava Cake | RM25.00

chef's version of molten lava cake with white chocolate in a crispy outer shell. topped with large amount of icing sugar yet not overly sweet, this fluffy cake with the creamy chocolate lava is indeed a good one to end of our meals.

rather than the ordinary dark chocolate lava, Brotzeit's version is being served with the white lava in it. the lava is so smooth the moment you cut through the cake, the white chocolate oozes out like nobody business..:D  this is indeed a major drooling!!!

despite the disappointing portion of my roasted pork, overall i am pretty satisfied with meals served. not forgetting the friendly staff who are always there ready to serve us.

be sure to check out Brotzeit for a great place to fill your bellies with some comforting German eats, perhaps accompanied by a refreshing pint of Paulaner's beer. definitely a great place or dining or happy hours!!!
