Dutch Lady Purefarm | Dutch Lady 7-Days Milk Breakfast Challenge
we used to hear phrases like "drink your milk so you'll grow big and strong!!!". we started drinking milk since young, but our intake decreases as we grow older. some people simply rolled their eyes because they fear that it will add too much fat to their diet. others may leave it out because they believe that they no longer need it.
with so many herb-infused, caffeine-pumped energy drinks, and other artificially contrived beverages in the market, there are plenty that are mere sugar, flavoring, artificial ingredients, and high doses of caffeine that have even come under fire from the health experts. rather than consuming all these "artificial" drinks, why not sip on a cold nutritious glass of natural milk instead?
so i received a basket of Dutch Lady Purefarm UHT milk at my doorstep the other day, and i my day was all brighten by this beautiful sky blue package with a hearty breakfast box in it. thank you so much Dutch Lady Malaysia for sending this over to me!!!..:D

Breakfast Routine
to be honest, i am not AT ALL a breakfast person. i have no habit of starting my day with breakfast, instead my first meal of the day would be lunch, or sometimes brunch. i can say that the hunger pangs is not that strong after all, although i have leave my stomach empty for more than 12 hours, and yet, i never have gastric before *true fact*. this has be me for the past years.
thus, taking up this challenge is indeed a challenge for me. i could not consume heavy breakfast for i would have major stomachache after that. so throughout the 7 days challenge, my meals are pretty "light" in a way that i added fruits most of the time.
although i am a major breakfast skipper, i do aware of the importance of having breakfast. i hope after seven days i would still continue to motivate myself to make pretty breakfast combinations..:)
Goodness of Milk
did you know that milk is considered "nature's wellness drink"? this creamy white beverage is full of calcium, that have been proven to increase bone health and density. also, adults can benefit from drinking milk to help keep their bones strong, which will reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis.
there are several benefits from drinking milk other than just ‘strong bones’.

any amount of milk consumed is beneficial, but two(2) servings of milk a day helps to meet your nutritional requirement and one(1) serving during breakfast can provide 200mg of calcium to jump start your daily nutritional intake. this is all it takes to get 100% of your calcium needs.
with the many benefits of drinking milk and the numerous of easy ways to consume milk it is a no-brainer to incorporate milk into a daily breakfast diet.
so bottoms up to your health – drinking milk everyday will do your body good!!! you are never too old to reap the rewards of drinking milk..:)
