Go-Getter Cafe | Bukit Jalil | Heaven for Sweet Tooth

by - Saturday, July 23, 2016

after a long tiring day at work, all you need to boost up your mood to last the night would probably be some really pretty looking and yummy desserts. was really caught up with works for days but thank god it was really lucky to get invited by Go-Getter Cafe to try out their dessert series. totally a YES!!! because you need desserts when you are stressed *wink*.

talking about mood booster, entering into the cafe already quite boosted up my mood because the surrounding is colourful and bright. different wall arts painted on each of the walls and each of them has totally no relation with each other *LOL*.

there is a very colourful wall painting of UP's house with loads of colourful balloons. it looks very cheerful but i could not stare it for too long because trypophobia *LOL*, not very goosebumps but a mild one..:p

on one end of the cafe was painted with superheros super villains paintings in black and white. and then on the other end of the cafe is a slightly more colourful corner with couches and cushioned chairs.

Go-Getter Cafe has a wide range of coffees to explore. they use coffee beans imported from Melbourne, Australia. i am not a super coffee lover, but if you are one you can probably tell if they have good coffee here.

Latte

Hazelnut Latte

Macademia

Salted Eggyolk Charcoal Waffle
charcoal waffle drizzles with salted caramel sauce, poured over with rich and smooth salted egg yolk sauce, complemented by vanilla ice cream

now i know salted egg yolk waffles is pretty much a hype now in all dessert cafes but this is my very very first time trying out one. salted egg yolk with waffle? win already!!! pouring salted egg yolk on top of the ice-cream results in a combination of sweet and salty, totally new to my taste buds!!!

Fancy Banana
charcoal waffle topped with sliced banana, chocolate shred, chocolate syrup, blubbery jam, vanilla ice-cream and baby rolled oats

probably a little too fancy here, i could not find the match between the coconut and the banana here.

Ondeh Ondeh Pandan Waffle
pandan waffle, Hawaiian shredded coconut, coconut flakes, a scoop of vanilla ice cream , salted caramel sauce and aromatic gula melaka

also the first time attempting on a pandan flavoured waffle. it was awesome!!! taking the first bite and the pandan aroma surrounding your mouth it is so so good!!! eating along with the gula melaka on the other hand is like eating ondeh ondeh in a whole new level.

Angelababy
a crispy, dense red velvet waffle with cream cheese, shredded chocolate, Oreos, strawberries, blueberries and vanilla ice cream

the naming itself is catchy enough. i personally love this waffle a lot because i love berries. the thick cream cheese allows everything to be forked together and you can actually get everything in one bite. the shredded chocolate is a good topping as it adds a sense of crunchiness in it.

Venice
earl grey snow base with strawberry ice cream, strawberries, Oreo flakes and almond flakes

incorporated with earl grey in the shaved ice? who have done this before? Go-Getter may have been the first one? there is no other sauce to accompany with this bowl of ice, i assumed the overall taste should come from the earl grey. unfortunately there was not much i wished they could have make the earl grey taste slightly stronger maybe.

Mark 1
Korean Premium Soy Powder Injeolmi Bingsu Series espresso with Adzuki Red Bean and vanilla ice-cream

not much of a coffee lover thus i am not liking the espresso shot. commenting without the shot, i think it taste too blend because the red bean is too little to eat along with such a big bowl of bingsu. maybe they can hide a scoop underneath the bingsu?

Mango Durian Bingsu & Homemade Gula Melaka

mango and durian are my favourite!!! i'm in heaven!!! the durian is so sweet and thick!!! i wished there are more durian at the bottom but too bad *LOL*. superb greedy when it comes to durian..:p

[New] Eiffel Tower
generous bingsu, generous fibres, generous ice-creams, everything is so GENEROUS

you may call it the BB (big bingsu). this is a secret menu that has yet to be officially published on their menu. i like it a lot where by they added different kinds of nuts into it, a lot more fun to get some nutty taste on a big sweet dessert.

wonder how big is this?

THIS BIG!!!

totally a must order if you are coming with a whole bunch of friends!!! so hurry up!!! head to Go-Getter Cafe to try them out!!! i bet this is a really nice place to hang out with your buddies!!!..:D
